Should the frame of the light show a charge as seen on an electrical test screwdriver?
Answer: Sorry I had someone fit this part for me so I do not know but I would have thought it would be incorrect to have live current at the frame as this could be dangerous. -

Which bulb do they take?
Answer: Hello Mr Dee - this unit is designed to replace the touch controls on some lamps, which sometimes fail and this is a relatively straightforward task. There are various types, the most common give 3 levels of brightness and on/off, so the bulb used must be dimmable - usually a conventional incandescent bulb ... my lamps that use this control take an SES golf ball bulb, but there may be other fitments around.
