Is there any difference in sound between this ma130s and the ma130 that isn't silk wrapped?
Answer: Yes, The silk wrapped has a more mellow sound. -

Are these nickel plated?
Answer: To be honest with you I don’t remember but I would have remembered if it would’ve been nickel silver like on an electric guitar and they weren’t that. Now they’re more of like a goldish color on my guitar. I think you’ll like the sound quality. I like phosphor bronze but phosphor bronze a little bit too bright for my needs. I hope this helps. -

Answer: This is for a 12 String guitar. If you have a 6 string guitar simply buy 6 strings - cheaper and exactly what you want. -

Answer: They are available in different gauges. This specific set is light. High E is 0.012, Low E is 0.054 inch. -
