What's the use before date?
Answer: The Johnston and Jeff No1 Parrot Food 12.75kg has an expiry date of 09/05/19. -

Is this suitable for a parrotlet?
Answer: We would not recommend this food for your Parrotlet as we feel the pieces may be too big. -
Question:
Does this have the dried fruit and chillies?
Answer: It has chillies but not much dried fruit at all, other than that it’s good quality. -
Question:
Is this suitable for kakariki parrots?
Answer: Yes, it is okay for your bird. They like apple, carrot, green leaf, orange, and peanuts in shell. -
Question:
Is this food suitable for an umbrella cockatoo?
Answer: The Johnston & Jeff Number 1 Parrot Food is fine for an Umbrella Cockatoo as a standard diet, but it will need added fruit and vegetables. -
Question:
Is this suitable for a green cheek conure?
Answer: Yes, as part of a balanced diet. Fresh foods should also be included in their diet. -
Question:
What is the expiry date for the mix?
Answer: I haven't noticed a date, but I store the seeds in a plastic drum with small holes drilled in it for air circulation. -
Question:
Is this better than Zupreem bird pellets?
Answer: The Johnston & Jeff is a good seed mix, but it's recommended to add a vitamin and mineral supplement. ZuPreem is a pelleted diet already containing required nutrients.
