Product Description
Obscured by Clouds
About This Item
Introducing the mesmerizing and captivating album "Obscured By Clouds" by a renowned band. Originally commissioned as the soundtrack for Barbet Schroeder's 1972 film The Valley, this album stands strong on its own terms, providing a musical journey that will leave you wanting more. Immerse yourself in the trippy and cinematic instrumental of the title track, where David Gilmour's searing guitar work takes center stage. But it's the full-fledged songs that truly shine on this album.
Take "Free Four," a morbid inversion of Norman Greenbaum's Spirit in the Sky, or the folksy "Wot's...Uh the Deal," both of which leave a lasting impact. While Obscured By Clouds may have been overshadowed by the monumental success of the album that followed it, Dark Side of the Moon, it still holds its own as a transitional work. In fact, tracks such as the funky "Childhood's End" and the ethereal "Burning Bridges" can be considered precursors to the iconic Dark Side tracks "Time" and "Breathe." This album is a priceless snapshot of a band on the cusp of immortality. Its seamless blend of psychedelic and folk-inspired sounds will transport you to another era.
Whether you're a fan of the band or simply appreciate quality music, "Obscured By Clouds" is a must-have addition to your music collection. Don't miss out on this extraordinary piece of musical history. Get your hands on the iconic "Obscured By Clouds" today and experience the brilliance of this legendary band. Shop now on Ubuy and let the music take you on a transcendent journey.
