Can I use either the CLEAR grain-filler or the powder walnut filler on Brazilian walnut?
Answer: You can use either the CLEAR grain-filler or the powder walnut filler individually or a combination of the two, depending on the size of the pores on your Brazilian walnut. We recommend applying a seal-coat of shellac on the bare wood surface before using the grain filler. -
Question:
What is the ratio of water to filler? How much prepared filler does a 12 oz. or 12 lb. bag yield?
Answer: The starting ratio is 1 part water to 3 parts GoodFilla. You can adjust the thickness by adding more liquid or powder. A 12 lb bag can cover approximately 650 square feet when mixed at the starting ratio. -

Can I mix this filler with primer to base-coat oak cabinet doors?
Answer: GoodFilla filler is not recommended for use as a base-coat with primer on oak cabinet doors. -

Can I use GoodFilla to fill cracks and voids in brown to black matrix stone?
Answer: GoodFilla may not be suitable for filling cracks and voids in brown to black matrix stone. Granite filler may be more appropriate for this purpose. -

Answer: For guitar projects, it is recommended to add the dust/filler/glue mix after the bending process. -

Answer: Yes, but make sure to add any desired coloring prior to mixing with the resin. -

Answer: No, the filler dries to an off-white color. -

Answer: It probably will, however, it is recommended to do a test first as the product is primarily used as a grain filler to achieve a flat surface before finishing.
