OnStage Stands SB9600 Editorial Review
**** The On-Stage SB9600 Tripod Studio Boom Microphone Stand presents a diverse range of experiences as echoed by its users. Its structural integrity and multi-functionality stand as commendable attributes, with many users praising its robust design that allows for a significant weight capacity. The stand can be adjusted between heights of approximately 4 to 6 feet, with a boom that extends over 7.5 feet, making it versatile for various recording and performance settings. Several users highlight its stability and the wide leg base that ensures the microphone remains securely positioned even under heavy use. On the flip side, there have been significant complaints regarding quality control and customer service. Some customers received units that were damaged, such as bent components or missing parts, and their replacement experiences were mixed, with several reporting inadequate packaging leading to more damage. Experience with adjustments also varied; while some users appreciated the wide range of positions available, others found the adjustment knobs difficult to use or poorly designed. Overall, the On-Stage SB9600 seems to be a solid choice for those who need a reliable and sturdy microphone stand, especially in a studio setting. However, potential buyers should be mindful of the potential for quality issues, and might want to verify that their unit comes in good condition upon arrival.
