Product Details
- 2/3/4 Thread Serger: Finish seams, trim raw edges, and create flexible overlock stitches for home garment projects. Use 4-thread overlock for stronger stretch seams and 3-thread overlock for lighter edge finishing.
- Extension Table Included: The extension table provides a larger work surface for garment panels, hems, and fabric-edge finishing. Attach it from the left side for extra project support during home serging.
- Adjustable Differential Feed: Set the feed ratio from 0.7 to 2.0 to help control puckering on lightweight fabrics and wavy edges on knits. Higher settings support gathering on sleeves, waistlines, and ruffles.
- Built-In Rolled Hem: Create narrow seams, rolled hems, and picot edges for lightweight fabrics and decorative finishes. Use these settings for garment edges, napkins, scarves, and craft details.
- Color-Coded Threading: Color-coded thread paths, a built-in threading chart, lower looper threader, and included needle threader help guide serger setup. The retractable thread stand supports cone thread placement.
- Heavy-Duty Metal Frame: The metal frame helps keep the serger steady while finishing seams, trimming edges, and sewing knit projects. A stable base supports smoother fabric feeding during home garment work.
- 16 Stitch Formations: The FY515 supports 16 stitch formations with 1-2 needles and 2 loopers for overlock seams, rolled hems, narrow seams, picot edges, and decorative effects.
- Built-In Cutting Knife: The upper knife trims fabric edges as the machine stitches for cleaner overlock finishing. The knife can be engaged for trimming or lowered for decorative work.
- Removable Cut-Offs Bin: The cut-offs bin catches trimmed fabric edges during sewing to help keep the work area cleaner. It can also hold the foot control during storage.
