The eXtremeRate ASR Version Redesigned Full Set Shell for the Xbox Core Controller has garnered mixed reviews, highlighting a blend of commendable design elements and significant drawbacks. On one hand, customers appreciate the aesthetic appeal and ergonomic design of the controller shell, particularly the available color options and rubberized grips that enhance comfort during gameplay. The inclusion of multiple button sets and the necessary tools for installation received positive remarks, with users finding the DIY aspect straightforward, especially when supplemented with external video tutorials. Some players enjoyed the thrill of customizing their controllers, indicating that the product fulfills an essential need for personalization. However, the enthusiasm diminishes when addressing the product's durability. Multiple reviews report that the plastic rings around the thumbsticks wear down quickly, leading to a rough gaming experience that detracts from overall performance. Additionally, the foam pads included for the triggers seem to degrade rapidly, resulting in disruptive clacking noises during use. The trigger stop feature, seemingly designed to enhance gameplay, has been criticized as uncomfortable and awkward, suggesting that it may not have been thoroughly tested for long gaming sessions. Overall, while the base shell and custom features provide an appealing package, the longevity issues present a significant concern for gamers who engage in extended play. In summary, while the eXtremeRate ASR shell offers a visually appealing and customizable option for Xbox Core Controller users, its durability issues and comfort concerns could hinder recommendations, especially Considering the price point. **
