Cortas Grape Leaves come in a 35 oz jar and are a great option for making stuffed vine leaves. The leaves are already removed from their stems, which reduces the amount of work required. Compared to other brands, they don't have any torn leaves and they aren't overly salty. Most of the leaves are quite large, although a few are too small for stuffing. The texture of some leaves is tough and stringy, and some have bug holes in them. The jar may not be full, but for the price per ounce, it's worth it. After a 30 minute soak in tap water, the brine comes out easily, and the leaves become soft and flavorful. The large mouth jar and the way the leaves were packed make it very easy to remove them without damaging them. Overall, these grape leaves are a good quality option for making dolmathas.
