People Like Us: The Complete Series (DVD) is a brilliant collection of British mockumentary humor that showcases the comedic talents of popular actors like Bill Nighy and David Tennant. This series delivers sharp wit and dry humor as it follows Roy Mallard, an inept documentarian, who profiles various characters in quirky professions like a policeman and a real estate agent. Viewers have noted that the writing is clever and subtle, making it an enjoyable experience overall. While some episodes might feel a bit flat in comparison to the hilariously awkward situations Mallard encounters, the standout performances guarantee plenty of laughs, making it a must-watch for fans of British comedy.
