The DynaBox Speaker Enclosure is made from a black flexivinyl barrier that not only looks sleek but also effectively blocks unwanted sound and vibrations. With an STC of 28, this enclosure ensures that sound stays where it belongs - in your room.
Featuring a mass of 1lb per square foot and a material thickness of 0.09 inches, this speaker enclosure is built for durability and longevity. It can withstand temperatures ranging from -40 F to 220 F (-40 C to 105 C) and is resistant to water and mineral oils, ensuring that it can handle any environment. The dimensions of the DynaBox Speaker Enclosure are 17 x 12 x 6.5 inches (438mm x 311mm x 165mm), providing ample space for most in-ceiling speakers. It also includes a backwave foam with dimensions of 13.5 x 9 x 1 inches (343mm x 229mm x 25mm) to further enhance sound quality. With a density of 2.0 lb/ft^3 (0.125 kg/m^3) and a tensile strength of 15psi, the backwave foam effectively absorbs sound and reduces unwanted reflections.
It also has a tear strength of 1.9 and a thermal conductivity rating of 1.9 (hr-ft^2-deg.F/BTU), ensuring optimal performance. The DynaBox Speaker Enclosure meets UL94 HF-1 standards and has a temperature resistance range of -40 F to 225 F (-40 C to 107 C), making it suitable for various applications.
