Answer: Yes, a mount would be attached from the bottom up into the threaded bolt inserts located in the base. -

How are they for waterproof? Will they be like sitting on a sponge after it rains?
Answer: No, Though the ProBax seats are not waterproof, they are water resistant and the design aids in the water rolling off the base seat cushion through the back. Their are also vent holes in the base cushion that are not visible, this also aids in allowing the seat to dry. For proper protection of the seat during storage etc. a protective seat cover is recommended. -

What is the difference in this one and the regular high back seat?
Answer: The main difference between the Tempress ProBax seat and the Tempress Navistyle High Back seat is in the shape/contour of the molded foam and the ProBax has a patented ProBax layered foam lumbar and seating pan system added in it. The High Back Navistyle has a cut foam back cushion and molded foam base cushion that do not include the ProBax foam in it. The ProBax has both a back and bottom cushion manufactured with molded foam. Also, the marine grade vinyls are both great weights in each seat, however the ProBax does not have the traditional vinyl we have seen for decades in the marine industry, it is an upgraded style of vinyl that feels more like a fabric material and the ProBax utilizes 3 different vinyl's, whereas the Navistyle utilizes only 2. -

My wise 8wd640pls-664 lund style high back seat have no back support. It is like you are in a recliner. How are the Tempress ProBax seats?
Answer: Best seats I've ever bought, great back support, nice covers for an extra $60 pair, great customer service. Made in Texas was a plus. Bought the leaning seats also. -

Can you sit on it when folded and not break it? It will be near the motor and sometimes I have to sit on the folded seat as I'm working on the motor.
Answer: No, the seat is not designed to be sat on when closed. It could cause altering of its shape and or alignment, affecting the integrated locking mechanism built on the back rear hinge area of the seat. -

Answer: It depends on the type of pedestal you install. There are so many hole positions on the bottom I would imagine the seats are universal to any pedestal. -
