Answer: They are a hard scratch resistant material, but judging by the weight, I think they are plastic. -

What sizes of diameter tube will the clamp fit around?
Answer: Half inch, you can probably get it to fit tubing a little larger, but half inch is where I would start, hope this helps. God B -

Answer: It is a convex mirror. -

Answer: I just discarded the clamps and bolted the mirror directly to the bracket.
